The Sociology Department recently announced its undergraduate award winners for 2021.  

Isabella Garcia won the Christopher A.W. McGee Award. This award is given annually to the best undergraduate paper.

Anita Lomeli won the Gandy Undergraduate Scholarship.  The Gandy Scholarship, established in honor of Oscar H. Gandy Jr., is a scholarship awarded to a sociology or criminology major, with priority given to students who are first generation college students (e.g., no parent/guardian earned a BA/BS or other 4-year college degree or higher).
