Phillip B. (Felipe) Gonzales had an op-ed piece come out in the Albuquerque Journal, "How the Legacy of the Conquistador Shaped NM." The article touches on the Oñate monument controversy.

Howard Waitzkin (distinguished professor emeritus), whose short book, Rinky-Dink Revolution: Moving Beyond Capitalism by Withholding Consent, Creative Constructions, and Creative Destructions, has been published collaboratively by Daraja Press and Monthly Review Essays.

Howard describes this work as a partial attempt to clarify the elements of an achievable revolutionary transformation. He welcomes constructive feedback and contributions responding to the vision statement by him and Firoze Manji about a series of pamphlets/ manifestos about how actually to move from A to B, (racial) capitalism to post-capitalism.

Eli Wilson published an essay for ASA Consumers & Consumption section blog, entitled, "Geek Wave! Driving Scenes from the Fringe."
