Dr. Owen Whooley Receives ASA Robert K. Merton Award

Science, Knowledge, and Technology Section (SKAT) of the American Sociological Association (ASA) has awarded Dr. Owen Whooley’s book Knowledge in the Time of Cholera: The Struggle over American Medicine in the Nineteenth Century this year's Robert K. Merton Book Award. Congratulations! The SKAT section reviewed over 40 books for this award and chose Owen’s book as the outstanding one.
