Originally from Wisconsin, Rose Elizabeth Rohrer earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from UW-Madison in 2002 and her Master of Education from Northern Arizona University in 2008. Before coming to the University of New Mexico, Rose was a Senior Research Associate for the University of Miami with the P-SELL project, a curriculum intervention aimed at improving science achievement among English language learning students. Her primary areas of interest are Environmental Sociology, Race and Ethnicity, Environmental Social Movements, and Science and Knowledge. Her thesis examines identity and community among farmers in North Central New Mexico.
