Neil has a BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and an MA in Health Communication from Emerson College. He has worked in several applied research positions in organizations working on health behavior change and in social service policy and training. As a graduate student at UNM, Neil has worked with Dr. Jessica Goodkind on the Refugee Well-Being Project, an NIMHD-funded R01. On this project, he has conducted qualitative and quantitative interviews with refugees, worked with the quantitative data team, and assisted in day-to-day implementation of the research.
