The Spring 2016 Colloquium schedule has been announced. The schedule is as follows:

February 26 -- Selina Gallo-Cruz (visiting scholar), Presentation title: "Marginalization, Mobilization, and Power: Insights from Women’s ‘Invisible Resistance’ in Argentina, Serbia and Liberia"

March 11 -- Owen Whooley: "A Profession, Unnerved: American Psychiatry and the Politics of Ignorance."

March 25 -- Noah Painter-Davis, Maria Velez, and Christopher Lyons

April 8 -- Methods and ethics discussion on Alice Goffman's book, On the Run

April 25 -- Jacob Young, Arizona State University

TBD -- Grad student professionalization panel on teaching

All colloquiums will begin at 4pm and be in the Sociology Commons.
